Steps to Help Yourself to Health

Eat fresh food every day & cook meals from fresh raw ingredients - it all starts with the SHOPPING. Learn how to fill your trolley with the most nutritious foods - (see shopping lists).
Aim to eat at least 6 different varieties of vegetables and 1-2 pieces of fruit per day, so INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF NUTRIENTS you eat daily.
Avoid processed foods and junk foods and snacks, fizzy drinks and fruit drinks
Get moving! Incorporate physical activity and exercise into every day - walking, skipping, taking the stairs, swimming, yoga, dog walking
Get outside and enjoy the day - sunshine is good for you or even a brisk walk in the wind - fill your lungs with fresh air.
De-stress - yoga, pilates, hobbies, quiet time, listen to music, read.
Socialise with friends - enjoy a glass or two of red wine : Relax - Talk - Laugh - Dance - Share your smiles.
Think POSITIVELY about life - every day, list at least 5 positive steps you have taken to Help Yourself to Health that day and FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF for taking CONTROL OF YOUR OWN HEALTH AND WELL BEING.
