Picky-Little Eaters: Nutrition Workshop for young mothers
I am frequently asked by anxious mothers how to encourage their children to eat vegetables and fresh food, and how they can wean them off a diet of nuggets and pizza.
Mothers want practical advice about how to feed their children healthily and I aim to dispel the myth that eating fresh foods is more expensive than processed/junk food. I inform of the dangers of dangerous anti-nutrients, (refined sugar, saturated fat, additives) that is contained in high amounts in numerous foods that are marketed for children and mislead young mothers into thinking they are healthy options for their children. We look at advertising, marketing, and food labels.
I explain how anti-nutrients will adversely affect your child’s health including behavioural problems and setting them up for chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and some cancers in the future.
This is a workshop for nursery schools/pre-schools or individual groups of mothers who gather their own group (min. 10) together and contact me to organise a time & place to meet.
FEE: £18 per person:
Please contact Diana to discuss your groups individual requirements.
